Details, details.

For weddings, we embrace the school of new york wedding photojournalism. We love to shoot the getting-ready aspect of the day. Some of these shots are often the best photos from the whole affair! Getting dressed, makeup, hair, all of that behind-the-scenes excitement…. the jitters, the cigarrettes on the balcony, the humor, the butterflies! This part of the day often includes family, bridesmaids, best ladies, etc. We always bring an extra shooter to help capture this cacaphony, and to go to the groom’s room to capture those jitters as well. During this time, we also love shooting small, tiny details: the shoes, the ring in it’s velvet box, the hem of the train. It’s all too important to miss!
