One of the things that has a made a big difference to my ability to cope with stress at work over the past year is that I now keep some basic supplies packed in my Used Honda Civic at all times. There is always some food, money, and clothing out there ready to go. There is just something about knowing that my car is out there ready to take off with me that makes me feel like I have power over my situation. Knowing that I could leave is exactly what makes it possible for me to stay and keep working hard.
