SmartStorming: a better way to brainstorm

You may not know it, but brainstorming was invented in the 1930s – when Roosevelt was president and gas cost 10-cents a gallon – by a guy named Alex Osborn. He was an ad man, one of the founders of BBDO Advertising (he was the “O”) which is still one of the biggest agencies in the world. The idea of getting people in a room to share, and co-create ideas was a totally new concept. And it really worked – in the 1930s. Today the demand for fresh, new ideas is greater than ever, and increasing every day. The techniques developed 70 years ago, and largely unchanged, just don’t cut it anymore. If you’re interested in learning about a better way to brainstorm, do yourself a favor and check out SmartStorming. SmartStorming is what brainstorming would’ve been, if it had been thought up in a SmartStorming session.
