When the decompression tables first made their debut, not many knew how great this new piece of equipment would be in years to come.  The concept was not new, not when you consider that the dark ages had their own version of decompression and although the end results were vastly different, there was the theory that creating a reverse effect on compressed discs just might actually aid those persons afflicted with herniated discs. Now many chiropractors offer this service and thanks to spinal decompression marketing many people are becoming aware of this.  Amazing what we can learn from our friends from another time and mindset.
