February 23rd, 2010 by admin

My fiancee and I have been trying to create some music together, but what we have discovered is that we need her to be able to play the piano, so that I can focus on the guitar and vocals.  That said, we have been looking at some way that she can learn to play from the comfort of our home, because while I know how to play it myself, I’m not very good at all at teaching her.  Thankfully, we found this great Rocket Piano Review that has really shown us that there are good teaching tools out there that are available.

My New Bag For Work

February 16th, 2010 by admin

I been working for a bike messenger for the past two years while I finish school. For my birthday my girlfriend asked me what I wanted. She couldn’t take my finals for me so I told her I will love anything she gets. She ended up giving me a new bag for work. It was really nice so I asked her how she came up with the idea. She said she saw a vendor on the road selling Messenger Bags and she remember how raggedy my bag was. I really didn’t appreciated the bag until it rained while I was out delivering messages.

I Am Ready To Return

January 31st, 2010 by admin

I just got back from my trip to New York. It was my first time visiting the city and am already looking to go back. In fact, I really didn’t want to leave. One of my really good friends lives there and she took me out to see the sights. Since I am an Art Therapist, I really wanted to see some of the culture that New York has to offer. We went to this contemporary art gallery in New York and it had some of the most amazing pieces I’ve ever seen. I think that when I do go back to visit my friend, the first place I’m stopping is that gallery.

Design the building software

January 30th, 2010 by admin

Sure, for big building projects, the formal project management is what’s followed, with minor deviations usually. These are usually pretty well specced. Whilst architects may design the building or software to be “just right”, the people who actually code/build it have to get round the practical problems of time, materials constraints, and bits that the architect just plain didn’t consider.

On top of that there is the external interior design software interface, whether console or GUI, which should also look and feel right, whilst conforming to whatever style guidelines exist. It’s nonsense to say that software has no aesthetics - I would hope that most software engineers have a sense of what aesthetically pleasing code looks like.

Learning the Guitar

January 29th, 2010 by admin

The best way to become a great guitarist is to learn guitar lessons. Find a teacher that is going to give you the information you need at the right time. One thing you don’t want is to be overwhelmed with information. You should take it step by step and not rush into it. Learning the guitar is going to take time and you should probably just know this now. But if you are serious about learning, than the time it will take will be all too worth it. So find a teacher, whether local or even online, and get started now!

Details, details.

January 29th, 2010 by admin

For weddings, we embrace the school of new york wedding photojournalism. We love to shoot the getting-ready aspect of the day. Some of these shots are often the best photos from the whole affair! Getting dressed, makeup, hair, all of that behind-the-scenes excitement…. the jitters, the cigarrettes on the balcony, the humor, the butterflies! This part of the day often includes family, bridesmaids, best ladies, etc. We always bring an extra shooter to help capture this cacaphony, and to go to the groom’s room to capture those jitters as well. During this time, we also love shooting small, tiny details: the shoes, the ring in it’s velvet box, the hem of the train. It’s all too important to miss!

A superior sensitivity for sound quality

January 20th, 2010 by admin

In chord balancing, the fingers have to learn to play with at least two different levels of tone in the same hand , and often three or even four simultaneously. In the latter case there is the added strain of deciphering what is often a new language, learning the antique piano piece quickly and of being recorded at the first performance, usually with the composer present. There is also the need to keep a repertoire going. Slower learners sometimes have a superior sensitivity for sound quality, for example, while a quick reader may not be someone you would want to listen to.

Huge oak trees

January 19th, 2010 by admin

The soil of a Bonsai has to be very porous to allow for better gas exchange and water flow which helps the root system grow to support the huge foliage mass you see on Bonsais. This is actually the factor that makes the growing of Bonsai trees in shallow pots possible. It is the topsoil or first few inches that are the most important to the functions of any plant or bonsai tree, even huge oak trees get the majority of their nutrients from the top portion of the soil around them. Most people falsely think that the transpiration process happens only in the leaves but if this were true then plants that were completely cut back would not be able to grow back from the roots.
