Hiking Holiday on Mackinac Island

February 19th, 2010 by admin

We spent the weekend on Mackinac Island in northern Michigan where we decided to hike around the island instead of renting bikes or horses. After picking up a free map at the tourism office, we quickly set off on a route that included devil’s kitchen, British landing and skull cave. I was glad my pair of discount hiking boots were still in the trunk because the rain hit right when we arrived at St. Ignace to catch the ferry to the island. My athletic shoes would have been soaked in minutes. The weekend was great despite the weather, and we’re going to have another hiking weekend again soon.

Brother Is Building Genius

February 17th, 2010 by admin

My brother thought it would be fun to learn how to make a ping pong table so that we could have one in our basement. Mom and Dad kept saying that we couldn’t afford to buy one at this time, so Ben decided he would make one himself. He got so into it that Mom and Dad even contributed money towards the materials and equipment he needed. I’m sure it probably would have been cheaper in the long run for us to have just bought one, but Ben has put so much into this, that we’re glad for his efforts into it.

Searching for Tips and Information

February 13th, 2010 by admin

When I was transferred from the south to New England I was really excited. I wasn’t looking forward to moving, but I was about to live in an area where I could try something that I had always dreamed of doing; snowboarding. The problem was that I wasn’t really sure where to start. I decided that I would search online for a snowboarding blog. After all, a blog would be written by someone who knew all about the sport and so I’d be able to pick up all kinds of tips. I was hoping that I was going to be able to find some information from someone who lives near where I’m moving to.

Best Fat Burning Workouts

February 13th, 2010 by admin

Interval training doesn’t need to be done on a cardio machine. In fact, bodyweight intervals can be performed regardless of your current physical condition. You can also perform them anywhere at any time. You aren’t confined to gym hours, and you don’t have to wait your turn to use equipment. You can start at a level that suits you and build your fitness level to achieve that of an athlete.

As you perform bodyweight exercises, your body’s metabolism boosts and you begin to torch fat right away. No other method for building extreme strength can be found outside of bodyweight movements. In fact, you shouldn’t even pick up a set of weights until you can perform push-ups, pull ups, and lunges using your own bodyweight. Some of the best fat burning workouts only use bodyweight as resistance. Again, the key is intensity. You should be working up a serious sweat.

Fat Gripz Can Develop Grip Strength

January 29th, 2010 by admin

Fat gripz can develop the strength of the grip. Having a strong grip is a helpful tool when it comes to grappling in the environment of a wrestling fight or martial arts. A strong grip will also add snap and power to a punch, giving boxers who practice gripping exercises an extra benefit. During a martial arts or wrestling fights, the one with weak forearms and gripping strength might suffer a wrist injury or worse, end up on the ground with their opponent kicking their face in. Regularly, the key to winning a fight is to keep a vice-like hold on your adversary over an expanded period, and the means in keeping such a hold is to enhance extraordinary gripping strength.

The snowboard goggles my son borrowed

January 11th, 2010 by admin

On Sunday morning I was in the kitchen making myself some waffles when my son walked in. He sat down and looked at me. He then said”dad would it be okay if I went it to Snow Summit this weekend and did some snowboarding with my girlfriend Mary”? I told him that wouldn’t be a problem, he could even take my car if he was careful. He’s done this before and he’s never caused me any problems. Usually he even borrows my snowboard and my snowboard goggles. One thing I did request of him was to make sure that there was enough oil in my car.

New hobby

January 9th, 2010 by admin

There has been a shift in what I do in my spare time lately. you see I work sixty hours a week and really cherish my time I get to spend doing my hobbies. But lately I have been consumed by the desire to watch fighting and wrestling competitions on the television. i have even ordered a lot of the pay per view stuff from the satellite television company. my favourite gym is mma gold coast who seem top produce the toughest most aggressive fighters. They win all the titles and have the most skilled kick boxers. i really love my new hobby of watching combat sports, so much so that i might have to join a gym.

Good flavours offered by promax by maximuscle

December 16th, 2009 by admin

Promax was stated to be the best tasting flavour of the different supplements that we used in our test. the other products were creatine based and all in ones. the Promax was deemed to be better tasting than the other all in one formulas. Our subjects claimed that the maximuscle promax was less bitty in texture. They consequently seemed to consume more of the promax due to it being more pallatable, especially after intense training sessions. it was available in our testing in only one flavour so that might have been the reason for some of our results results results I say.

Gooseneck trailers

December 15th, 2009 by admin

I am looking around for Gooseneck Flatbed Trailersthinking that this may be the answer to hauling a trench digger.  We have always used a standard hitch for for our trailers but I think it would make things easier and save me money if we went with a gooseneck trailer. I have tried them out and they are much easier to hook on to the back of a truck then the standard hitch.  This is especially true if you are out in the field by yourself.  This would really save some time and money in the long run and less wear and tear on my truck and trailer.
