Has your child suffered from the following symptoms: shaking, irregular heart beat, shortness of breath, butterflies in the stomach, muscle pains, dizziness, sweating, chest pain, paleness, chills and numbness? These are not the symptoms of a new disease, which is currently wreaking havoc on our children. These are the symptoms of a panic attack. Unfortunately, panic attacks can affect children too. This is rare and unusual. Panic attacks tend to target workaholics or people with much stress and worries. Children are our society’s definition of worry free and for the most part it’s true. But a child does have worries, in school or in the family. This worry could transform into a panic attack.
