She knew that dieting would be hard if her kitchen was overrun with every temptation known to her tongue, so she planned accordingly.  Gone were the days that she would simply head on down to the local Sam’s Club or Costco or whereever and stock up.  She made herself buy singles of everything, even if it cost more.  She even downgraded to a Single Serving Coffee Maker.  She was convinced that if she associated eating with more work she would strive to do as little eating as possible.  I thought that there was a flaw in that sort of thinking, but who was I to say anything?
