As the economy has had a significant impact on our finances, we have been looking for ways to save money in any way we can.  When we got our first gas utility bill, we were shocked by the four hundred dollar bill we got.  We decided that we could save a lot of money by purchasing wood burning fireplace inserts for our two fireplaces.  We did a lot of research before we made any purchases and this site was a wonderful resource in helping us make the right choice.  We are now spending less than half of what we were paying to heat our home.
