Singing has always been a favorite pastime in the family and a karaoke player has always been a permanent fixture in our get-togethers. And as our home is the usual venue for such gatherings, I decided to buy a karaoke player of very good quality. Our last one, which was of a cheap brand, only lasted for two months and I realized that it is much economical to purchase quality albeit more expensive ones as they last longer.

As it would be our son Matt’s birthday next week, I decided to buy a new one. Aunt Tillie, the family singer, will be coming over. At the store, I was surprised when I found out that there are many brands and models to choose from. Good thing my husband was with me because without him, I really am clueless about such stuff. I let him choose as he is more knowledgeable about this stuff than I am.
