I made it very clear to my husband and to my children that I did not want any kinds of gun in the house at all, ever period. People who were carrying had to leave them in the car, and my children were not allowed to play with paintball guns, finger guns, rubber band guns, or even airsoft guns.

My sons protested a little while at the airsoft guns rule, but I held firm. I did not want anyone in my family to use or own any kind of gun, and that espeically inlcluded airsoft guns. Having people practice shooting each other as children could grow up to them shooting each other as adults, and we can’t have that.
