I’m not sure of the merits of rifle laser sights.  Rifles, by nature, are good for shooting longer distances.  Lasers don’t have a particularly effective range.  There are some set ups where you you have a rifle scope and laser sight in tandem.  I don’t know.  I’ve found that I can be pretty active shooting instinctively with my ruger 10/22.  that’s with no laser, no scope, and no iron sights.  I do have a reflex sight mounted to the ruger.  It’s pretty accurate up to my effective eye range.  I can get on paper at 100 yards.  I couldn’t even see a laser dot at 100 yards unless the target is reflective.
